The Hiro's Within
For some reason, people thought the old blog entries I recently imported from blogger into multiply are current. Those were 2 years ago, my dear friends. TWO YEARS AGO. :)
I guess that's what I get for doing a mass import of my old blog and resurrecting it. People didn't notice the date at the top right of each entry showing "''05" or "'06". I guess I shouldn't blame them. I hibernated my blog for 2 years then suddenly revived it. Unknowingly, people went back in time tuloy.
Now I feel like I owe it to everyone to have some updates. Thus, the retaking of the "Rate My Life" test, and now this.
I must say though that it was fun reading thru my 2-yr old blog entries. I also went back in time like how some of you did. Back again to the "future", for a moment I felt like being Hiro Nakamura. Kayo rin.. kaya nga parang the Hiro's within. Hehe!
Yes, that's how much I'm loving Heroes. So much that I come up with a corny blog entry title.. as if paying homage to the amusing Hiro-san. Hehe. Forgive me. :)
Back to Heroes the series.. I really like the narratives that they have in each episode, usually to start and end it. Somehow for me, that's what sets this series apart from the other superhero flicks. They're able to make viewers "relate" to what the heroes go through as they discover their special powers. Aside from the more human things that they go through, the narratives on evolution, changes, etc are really good and well-written. Nagiging medyo philosophical. Ang galing talaga. And... Ali Larter (Nikki/Jessica) is just great eyecandy! Hehe. Bonus!
I'm about to finish season 1 and can't wait to catch season 2, but as I always do for all the series that I watch... I wait til the end of the season and grab a full season dvd copy to have none of the weeklong episode breaks. So mga next year na ulit. :)
In the meantime, I do have a long backlog list of marathons to do:
- 24 Season 6
- Lost Seasons 1 & 2
- Grey's Anatomy Season 3
- House Seasons 1 & 2
- Rome Season 1
Add to this the new comedy series 'How I Met Your Mother'! My friends have recently been raving about it and it's actually already on it's 2nd season now. So I'm grabbing a copy soon...
To all other series junkies like me, here are the series that I've watched :
- 24 Seasons 1-5
- Smallville Seasons 1-6
- Lost Season 1
- Alias Seasons 1-5
- Entourage Seasons 1-3
- Grey's Anatomy Seasons 1 & 2
